Suvi Sharma 

President and Chief Executive Officer

Suvi, an industry thought leader in solar PV innovation, is responsible for overseeing the growth of Solaria and leading its strategic expansion as it extends the applications of its technology.  Suvi joined Solaria in 2003 and recruited a world-class management team, developed partnerships with industry-leading solar companies and raised close to $200 million from strategic financial investors.  Suvi is a seasoned entrepreneur with 20 years of experience in company formation, fundraising, talent recruitment, business development and global operations of innovative companies in renewable energy, information technology and private equity.  He started his career as an Associate at the venture capital firm, Geocapital Partners, a $500 million international private equity firm, founded and ran IVUS, an outsourced CRM provider and was co-founder and board member of NEXTracker until its acquisition by FLEX.  Prior to his life in technology, Suvi worked in rural development in India, with an emphasis on political development.  He founded COMPASS, a volunteer organization that trains college students to teach in inner-city schools.  Suvi holds a B.S. in Statistics from Northwestern University.


Kevin Gibson 

Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Kevin led the research and development behind Solaria’s current technology platform leading to the innovation of Solaria’s commercial products.  With more than 25 years of experience as a product and equipment innovator and 12 years of direct experience in developing photovoltaic technologies, he is responsible for keeping Solaria at the forefront of technical achievement.  Kevin leads the technical and engineering teams in further developing Solaria’s core technology, product line and automated manufacturing processes.  Kevin uses his extensive work in the semiconductor, automation, and automotive industries to yield high performance, high volume, and low cost solar cells and modules that significantly lower the cost of solar photovoltaic energy.  Before joining Solaria, Kevin was Director of Global Operations for a division of Emerson Electric, a multibillion-dollar industrial and consumer products company. Kevin currently holds 16 U.S. patents and has an additional 45 international patents, all related to solar module technology and production equipment. Kevin holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Western Ontario as well as MBA degrees from both Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium and Cornell University, Ithaca, NY.


Bob Zapotosky 

Chief Financial Officer 

Bob is responsible for the financial leadership of the company. He is a 12-year veteran of energy efficiency and clean tech, four years of which have been in solar. Bob brings more than 25 years of senior finance and administration executive experience from large multi-billion dollar manufacturing companies, such as Flextronics, as well as small to mid-size, privately held and venture-backed companies. Bob has led companies through venture equity and debt financings while creating cost-effective accounting, human resources, information technology, risk management and facilities functions that have helped companies scale and grow, including Metcal, Electronic Lighting, All Covered, NHT, UltraCell, Solaria and NEXTracker. Bob holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University and is a non-practicing CPA.


Udi Paret

General Manager, Building Solutions

 Udi, a veteran in renewable energy and solar window technology is responsible for the proliferation of Solaria’s Building Integrated Photovoltaic technology in the building and construction industry.  With more than 25 years of global operations experience, Udi defines the strategy and leads Solaria in the quest for turning building facades into generating assets.  Udi currently serves as a member of the Architectural Solar Association (ASA) advisory board.  Before Solaria, Udi was VP Marketing & Business Development at Pythagoras Solar, paving the way for mainstream adoption of BIPV solutions. Prior to that, Udi was the President of Fusion Dynamic, where he led global expansion and partnership development with IBM. In addition, Udi was Senior VP Global Operations at Intransa and Senior Director of Customer Care with 3Com’s $600 million OEM division. In parallel to his business career, Udi has been active in not-for-profit organizations including the American Technion Society and the Israeli Venture Networks.  Udi holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technion in Israel and has participated in Executive Programs at Stanford University.


Dru Sutton

General Manager, Rooftop Solutions

 Dru is responsible for defining and executing the strategic proliferation of Solaria's residential and commercial rooftop solutions. He is committed to raising the global awareness of the value of high performance, high density solar panels that produce more power than conventional models. Dru started his career in the semiconductor industry before joining the solar revolution in 2005. He has vast experience in many facets of the solar industry including power electronics, battery storage, solar modules, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction). Prior to Solaria, Dru held management positions in engineering, applications, marketing and sales at several international companies involved with Solar Installation, Module Manufacturing, Distributed Module Electronics and Inverter Products including REC Solar, Q-Cells and Delta Products. Most recently, Dru was the North American technical marketing manager with SolarEdge, managing products, applications, customer training, and code compliance. Dru installed a grid-tied solar electric system on his California home in 1998 and holds a B.S degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.

Adam Detrick

Vice President, Product Development

Adam, an expert in product development and manufacturing, brings more than 15 years of experience in the PV industry to his work at Solaria.  Adam joined Solaria in 2012 and currently manages all aspects of operations, product development and new product introduction for Solaria’s High Efficiency Module technology.  He is responsible for driving the proliferation of Solaria’s trusted technology for rooftops and utilities and is committed to furthering the excellence of Solaria’s manufacturing automation operations.  Adam began his career as an engineer at PowerLight, a PV systems company that was later acquired by SunPower Corporation (SPWR), focusing on PV module technology and balance-of-systems component design. At SunPower he led the module design group through the design, development and commercialization of the 128-cell, 400+ Wp module. He also managed the Module, New Product Introduction team, developing and overseeing process and equipment development for new module products. Adam holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.


Jusong Wang 

Vice President, Module Technology

Jusong joined Solaria in 2010 and currently leads the product development and engineering of Solaria’s PV-Agriculture solutions, bringing expertise in business development, supply chain strategy, marketing and sales, and partnership negotiation. With 12 years of experience as an engineer, Jusong is responsible for expanding the reach of Solaria’s trusted technology into agriculture and greenhouses. Jusong has led Solaria’s collaboration with world-renowned research organizations including NREL, Sandia National Lab, ISE-Fraunhofer and ESTI.  Prior to Solaria, he worked for Silicon Genesis, Inc., a c-Si wafer engineering company.  There he focused on PV application and cell development, and qualifying its proprietary c-Si wafers for PV cell application.  Jusong also collaborated with the University Center of Excellence for Photovoltaics at the Georgia Institute of Technology.  Jusong holds a B.S. degree from Tsinghua University, M.S. and Ph.D. degree from University of Notre Dame, both in Electrical Engineering.


Ramon Reglos

Vice President, Manufacturing Operations

For more than 30 years, Ramon has developed, deployed and overseen manufacturing processes, equipment engineering, supply chain logistics, production, quality and reliability practices in the solar and semiconductor industries.  At Solaria, Ramon established a new, automated, high volume solar manufacturing process, which strengthened Solaria’s industry presence with an unprecedented improvement in quality coupled with dramatic decrease in costs.  With this in place, Solaria enabled its large partners to provide their trusted products as powered-by-Solaria branded solutions. Ramon continues to manage day-to-day operations and develop strategic plans to support Solaria’s growth and the proliferation of its technology across its key segments, in collaboration with global partners.  Most recently, Ramon managed solar module and inverter testing operations at DNV GL, PVEL, deepening his experience in solar module design, manufacturing and commercial certifications.  Prior to that he was Program Manager for eSilicon, where he owned the full product lifecycle from design to execution of successful NPIs for clients such as Google, Cisco, Ciena, Exar, Emulex, Infinera, Movidius, Octasic, SolarFlare Communications and Tektronix.  He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Central Colleges of the Philippines.


Nadeem Haque

Senior Director of Engineering

Nadeem has spent more than 20 years in the technology industry working directly with customers, partners and vendors across multiple geographies.  He has extensive engineering experience in developing new solar technology, designing and installing on-grid solar and hybrid solar storage systems and bringing products from concept to large-scale production.  Nadeem helped to create Solaria’s core technology and is currently responsible for the design, innovation and deployment of solar products and solutions for energy efficient and net zero energy buildings.  Prior to his work in the solar industry, Nadeem led cutting edge work in the semiconductor industry, leading the design and delivery of state of the art microelectronic products at LSI Logic, approaching $1 billion in annual revenue.  In addition he founded Energy Potential, a company focused on market development and deployment of solar systems in developing countries.  Nadeem holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from N.E.D. University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi, Pakistan.


Scott Hoover

Vice President Sales, Building Solutions, North America

A 25-year veteran of the building materials industry, Scott has led successful marketing, sales and business development efforts within global glass manufacturers as well as start-up innovators in the green-building industry.  Scott joined Solaria to proliferate its building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) technology.  In addition to leading new market penetration, Scott will leverage his deep knowledge of a wide range of glasses to work with existing customers and partners to bring to market powered-by-Solaria solar generating windows. Focused on the glass and window industries, Scott brings expertise in manufacturing and fabrication, marketing and sales management, product development, project design, new product strategy and business development. Scott is a respected expert and thought-leader who has published, consulted and advised across a diverse array of the architectural, engineering and construction community.  He was named to US Glass’ list of the “most influential people in the glass and metal industry” and Glass Magazine’s “2006 Top 20 under 40.” Before joining Solaria, Scott held senior and executive level positions at Pythagoras Solar, View (formerly Soladigm); Pilkington/NSG and AGC North America.  He holds a B.S. in Business from Kansas State University.
