FREMONT, CA, JUNE 10, 2010 — California Attorney General Jerry Brown today toured Solaria Corporation’s solar power manufacturing plant and global headquarters in Fremont, CA.  On this tour, he was accompanied by California Secretary of State Debra Bowen, California State Treasurer Bill Lockyer, State Controller John Chiang, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, and other California officials.  The visiting officials were hosted by Solaria CEO Daniel Shugar.

“We’re delighted to welcome these outstanding policymakers to Solaria,” noted Dan Shugar.  “Time after time, these leaders have acted on their commitment to supporting policies that further the growth and deployment of solar in California. These officials have been instrumental in the establishment and enactment of incentives that help foster the growth of the clean tech economy in our State.”

While at the plant, Brown called on the State of California to implement additional policies to spur the growth of the solar and the development of additional new clean technology jobs in California.
