Where are you from?
Mendocino, CA where my dad was the town veterinarian.
How did you get interested in solar?
I found a “Real Goods Solar Living Sourcebook” at a used bookstore in Berkeley, CA around 1997. I was inspired by the fact that you could actually order all the components to run a house with clean, off-the-grid energy through this one company. I ended up working there within 6 months when they opened their Berkeley-based store front and have been in solar ever since.
What is your favorite thing about solar?
Clean, all-electric energy is vital to the global economy, US energy independence and longevity of the planet.

VP, Product Management
Why do you like working at Solaria?
The people and the mission. We operate like a team all aligned on a singular vision of becoming the best solar brand in the industry.
Hobbies/favorite things to do when you are not working?
I love playing drums. I currently play in the Bay Area surf-rock band “The Reverbivores”. You can find us on all major music streaming services!
